Jacobsen Ford is a family owned and operated Ford dealership that has served the black hills area since 1967. The dealership is run by Jim Jacobsen and his 3 sons Dan, David, and Darren. Located just off of exit 32 on I90 in legendary Sturgis, South Dakota we carry a full line of new Ford cars, trucks, SUV's and Crossovers. We are also the only Ford Quality Checked Certified Pre-Owned dealer in the Black Hills.
Jacobsen Ford has always been very involved in the community, supporting Little League, Pony and Legion Baseball, High School Rodeo, 4H and the Sturgis Booster Club to name a few. The Jacobsen's have also been very involved with the automobile dealer community. Donald Jacobsen served on the South Dakota Automobile Board of Directors (SDADA) for many years, as President from 1974 to 1975 and received the distinguished Time Magazine Quality Dealer Award in 1977. Don's son Jim served on the SDADA board for over a decade and served as President from 1993 to 1995. Following in his father's footsteps Jim also won the Time Magazine Quality Dealer Award in 1998. Since 2005 Dan Jacobsen has served on the SDADA board.
Sturgis plays host to Sturgis Bike Week and to the up and coming Sturgis Mustang Rally. The mustang rally started in 2007 is held over Labor Day weekend and was very successful in its first year. Over 303 registered "Mustangers" gathered in Sturgis and toured the Black Hills on poker runs, lined up for the Show and Shine on famous Main Street Sturgis and participated in the Drag Racing and Autocross.
