America Turns 250
Hi, I’m Marsha, the receptionist at Wareing Sturgis Ford.
America celebrates its 250th birthday this year!
Have you seen what some of our favorite American brands have planned for the occasion?
PepsiCo is temporarily renaming Mountain Dew to American Dew for the summer.
Coca-Cola is releasing collectible mini cans representing all 50 states, Puerto Rico, and Washington, D.C., each featuring local symbols and landmarks.
General Mills is celebrating with a special Cheerios flavor that tastes like vanilla cake and includes red, white, and blue sprinkles.
Oreo has introduced its Firecracker Pop cookie.
Steak ‘n Shake is serving a Patriot Milkshake featuring birthday cake flavors, patriotic sprinkles, and a chocolate Statue of Liberty.
Disney is planning coast-to-coast celebrations, while companies like Amazon, Boeing, and FedEx are supporting America250 events across the country.
Even Southwest Airlines and American Airlines have unveiled patriotic aircraft liveries to mark the occasion.
Historic destinations are preparing as well. Philadelphia, birthplace of the Declaration of Independence, is hosting year-long festivities, and Washington, D.C., will feature a massive Fourth of July celebration, including the Great American State Fair.
Here at Wareing Sturgis Ford, we have a reason to celebrate too.
Ford Motor Company was recently recognized by TIME as the No. 1 company on its list of America’s 250 Most Iconic Companies. For nearly 125 years, Ford has been part of the American story, building vehicles that have carried families, workers, ranchers, travelers, and adventurers across generations.
To celebrate America’s 250th anniversary, Ford launched its American Value. For American Values. campaign.
Andrew Frick, President of Ford Blue and Model e, described the campaign this way:
“American Value. For American Values. is our commitment to the workers and families who drive this country forward. To us, that means more than just a century of history — it means offering employee pricing to provide the right value at the right time.”
That means employee pricing is currently available on most new 2025 and 2026 Ford and Lincoln vehicles at participating dealers through July 6.
For many customers, that can mean significant savings.
For example, several vehicles currently in our inventory qualify for employee pricing, including:
And employee pricing does not necessarily exclude other qualifying rebates or incentives, creating additional opportunities for savings.
If you’ve been thinking about purchasing a new vehicle, this may be a great time to explore your options and learn what programs you qualify for.
Thanks for reading, and stop by before July 6 if you’d like to learn more about current Ford incentives and employee pricing programs.
And while you’re here, let’s celebrate America’s 250th birthday together.
