Hi, this is Marsha, the receptionist at Wareing Sturgis Ford.

America just celebrated its 250th birthday, and all of us at Wareing Sturgis Ford hope you enjoyed the holiday with family and friends.

Reflecting on a little American history, did you know that 251 years ago Benjamin Franklin became our nation’s first Postmaster General? A few years later, milk was being delivered directly to homes in Vermont, and back then it was often more common for doctors to make house calls than to see patients in an office.

Those were some of America’s first examples of bringing services directly to the customer.

Imagine the convenience.

Today, home delivery has become part of everyday life. Groceries arrive at our doorstep. Pet groomers come to the house. We schedule appliance repairs, windshield replacement, mobile dent repair, and even handyman services without leaving home.

The only thing I can’t quite figure out is why I still don’t seem to have any extra time.

Whether your Ford is parked at your home in Rapid City, sitting in the Fort Meade VA parking lot in Sturgis, or working hard on a ranch in central Meade County, our Mobile Service technician can come to your vehicle instead of you coming to us.

Many routine maintenance services can now be performed right where your vehicle is parked, including:

• Oil and filter changes
• Brake services
• Fluid and filter services
• Battery services
• Tire rotations
• Wiper blade replacement
• Bulb and lamp replacement
• Software updates
• Diagnostic scanning
• Accessory installation

Here’s one of my favorite parts:

There is no additional charge for Ford Mobile Service.

The biggest difference isn’t the service itself—it’s the time you save by not rearranging your schedule.

Just this past week, our Ford Master Certified technician, Cole, completed Mobile Service appointments in Rapid City, Black Hawk, Piedmont, Spearfish, Custer, and Sturgis.

He performed oil changes, tire rotations, software updates, recall work, diagnostic checks, and even helped one customer with a mud flap concern.

Teachers, nurses, fleet managers, business owners, construction companies, ranchers, and families throughout the Black Hills are discovering just how convenient Mobile Service can be.

Some customers simply unlock their vehicle from their desk using the FordPass App, Cole performs the service, processes payment, locks everything back up, and they’re able to keep working without missing a beat.
